We’re partnering with a fintech operating in a regulated, cloud-first environment that’s looking to add an experienced Security Engineer with a strong focus on vulnerability management, detection, and risk reduction across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).

This role is hands-on and works closely with engineering, cloud, and incident response teams, with an emphasis on practical remediation and continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing:
• Staying informed on emerging threats and vulnerabilities, applying a strategic, risk-based mitigation approach
• Running vulnerability management activities across applications, infrastructure, cloud platforms, and the SDLC
• Embedding security controls and vulnerability remediation into CI/CD and development workflows
• Using SIEM platforms to support detection, investigation, and vulnerability-driven threat monitoring
• Supporting security assessments, audits, and penetration testing, translating findings into actionable security improvements
• Supporting incident response efforts and guiding remediation actions when required

What typically fits:
• 5+ years’ experience in security engineering or vulnerability management roles
• Experience integrating security into the SDLC and CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms and cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO 27001, OWASP, CIS or similar)
• Background working in regulated or high-trust environments
